Our Story

ROOTED IN FAITH,

Tierra Firme Church was born from a simple vision: to create a community where everyone can experience the love of God and find solid ground for their lives. Located in the heart of El Paso, we are a Spanish-speaking Christian church that welcomes all who seek hope, purpose, and belonging.

Under the leadership of Pastor Díaz and Julia Díaz-Escandón, our church has grown into a vibrant family of believers committed to serving our community, worshipping together, and sharing the message of Christ's love.

Our name, "Tierra Firme" — meaning "Solid Ground" — reflects our belief that in God, we find an unshakeable foundation for life. No matter what storms you face, there is solid ground to stand on. This is more than a name; it's a promise and a calling for our community here in El Paso.

Pastor Díaz and Julia Díaz-Escandón lead Tierra Firme Church together with a heart for the community and a passion for sharing God's Word. Their vision is to build a church where every person feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to live the life God has planned for them.
